imgui_toggle's Issues

Add optional I/O indicators as accessability option

As in iOS/iPadOS, an option to show hint I/O labels on the toggle frames to indicate state, so that a user that has difficulty with color can quickly and easily discern the state of the widget.

Annoucing Dear ImGui Bundle including imgui_toggle and many others; with support for C++, Python and emscripten

I'm happy to announce the first public release of Dear ImGui Bundle. Dear ImGui Bundle is a bundle for Dear ImGui, including many powerful libraries from its ecosystem. It enables to easily create ImGui applications in C++ and Python, under Windows, macOS, Linux, emscripten. It is aimed at application developers, researchers, and beginner developers who want to quickly get started.

imgui-knobs is a included in the widgets provided with it.

@cmdwtf : sorry to hijack the issues list for this, and feel to close this issue; as this is just for your information. I informed @ocornut yesterday, and I plan to communicate about it in the ImGui gallery in the next hours.

Single header version

Seems to me that for such a specific feature it could be useful to have a single header version to make project inclusion as simple as possible.

Suggestion, about theme colors ...

Hey,
I tried some themes to see how the colors pair with other widgets, etc...
I think that the "knob" color, it “collides”, especially with the slider grabber.
Maybe it could be cool to have the same color as the slider.
What do you think?
Regards

Potential Features

When I was looking for an example of a Material toggle to mimic, I came across this post that has lots of little ideas that I may get around to implementing.

Listing them here so I don't forget.

  • Toggle centered I/O labels. (For full words like 'ON'/'OFF') (Also, optional offsets?)
  • Label optionally on left / right aligned toggle.
  • Optional sub-label (e.g.: "Microcopy description")
  • On-knob labels. (Like A11y labels, but for instance for a check/x on top of the knob.)
  • Image-based frame? (e.g.: Day/Night mode)
  • Image-based knob / knob glyph? (Eg: Sun/Moon)
  • Drop shadows? Knob/Frame?
  • Toggle + Label frame (To strongly associate the toggle with the label.)
  • Animation easing?
  • Knob inset for on/off, as well as animating between.

I also want to have a small pack of "ready to go" styles for users to easily hit something they're looking for without too much effort, like the ones displayed on that page.

  • iOS style
  • Material style
  • Salesforce
  • Office UI / Fabric
  • Kendo UI
  • The hollowed out ones from their "Test":
