If you encounter any problem, just try to reinstall Microsoft Office:

First, Open Finder and go to Applications on the left side, Remove All Microsoft Office Applications. Or you can use AppCleaner for complete uninstall

Next, click the link and install a new copy of Microsoft Office [Office Installer] (https://officecdnmac.microsoft.com/pr/C1297A47-86C4-4C1F-97FA-950631F94777/MacAutoupdate/Microsoft_Office_16.66.22101101_Installer.pkg), don't open it after it's installed.

Then, try to repeat those process but this time use the file you've already downloaded.
