Hello, I installed Microsoft Office 2019/LTSC 2021 Suite Installer Volume License Version 16.66.1 Maximum 10.15.x (Catalina) on Catalina and login with my hotmail account, but office is not activated, I tried Word and found it's readonly now.

I what to know what I may have missed, or I misunderstood the aim of this repo, I expect it activated after installation.

I tried to activate Microsoft Office on Mac OSX Sonomo 14.4 but was unsuccessful here is how I tried.

1- Install Microsoft Office 2021 LTSC Volume License Serializer
2- Install Office 365 Suite Installer

But was not successful. I have another computer with Mac OSX Sonomo 14.1 there is no problem with this version.

I am using Macbook Pro M2 Pro. As I see only there is a problem with version 14.4 (Latest for now)

How can I activate it?

my system version is Ventura 13.2, intell chip, when I download office installer, it gives me a 2023 office. and after i run the removal and serializer, it still needs a office account.

after downloading the Microsoft Office 2019 / LTSC 2021 / Office 365 Suite Installer and the lastest office 2021 LTSC Serializer.pkg, I installed this Serializer.pkg firstly, then office installer. But when I opened Microsoft Word, it still required me to sign in Microsoft Account, is there a way to activate Microsoft 365 on the lastest MacOS?

More a questioin than an issue.
I wanted to buy a Microsoft Office 2021 key on rakuten and when I received the installation instructions, I saw that the seller had sent me an executable named "Microsoft_Office_LTSC_2021_VL_Serializer (2).pkg" which shares the same MD5 hash as this github.
Is this legal?
He assures me that he has paid for access to this official Microsoft tool.
Can you give me more information on the legality of selling this github tool? What kind of license is contained in this executable?

README.md said that Microsoft Office 2019 Volume License Serializer is compatible with Maximum High Sierra. I don't think so. Yes, it doesn't work with office 16.69+, but I could succesfully applied it to the last 2019 version without 365 - 16.68 on Monterey 12.6.7.

I see the LTSC 2021 Volume License Serializer in the DATA folder is more than a year old. Could that be an/the issue?

I had an old version of Office downloaded in 2021. A few days ago it started giving problems: after opening a word or excel file it immediately closed on its own.
After trying to install and reinstall office, libre office etc., today I installed 'Microsoft Office LTSC 2021 Suite Installer Volume License Version 16.85 (24051214)' then 'Microsoft AutoUpdate (MAU) Standalone Installer 4.71' and finally 'Microsoft Office 2024 LTSC (Preview) Volume License Serializer'.
Now, now, the activation was successful, it works but I have the same problem:
when i open the files present in the desktop, or create one in that location, THEY CLOSE THEMSELVES IMMEDIATELY AFTER. If I create them in a folder or removable media they work.
I would like to point out that I installed on macOS Sonoma 14.5.
Do you have an idea how to solve it?

I'm currently stuck on activation.

I'm running macOS Sonoma 14.5 beta 3 (iMac Intel Core i9). It was working fine until installing the latest version 16.84.

I tested several versions without success: 16.84, 16.77, 16.78.3

With all Serializer types available:

Microsoft Office 2024 LTSC (Preview) Volume License Serializer
Microsoft Office 2016, 2019 & 2021 Activator / License_Serializer (MSDN ISO too)

And the activation does not go through, I am still asked to identify myself and no license is found, still read-only.
Even if I try to go back to an old version, the same thing.

I used License Removal Tool of course.

Any ideas?
