contributing's Issues

The "contributions guideline" page gives 404.

This template is rather extensive. Fill out all that you can, if are a new contributor or you're unsure about any section, leave it unchanged and a reviewer will help you 😄. This template is simply a tool to help everyone remember the BioJulia guidelines, if you feel anything in this template is not relevant, simply delete it.

Expected Behavior

Pulling up a page of guidelines for how a developer might go about contributing to the library.

Current Behavior

404 Page Not Found error when following the link https://biojulia.net/Bio.jl/latest/man/biojulia.github.io/Contributing/latest via clicks through the https://biojulia.net/Bio.jl/ webpage.

Possible Solution / Implementation

The page seems to expect a file named "latest" (a markdown file ?), which seems non-existent in the repo's "Contributing" folder.

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. Go to https://biojulia.net/Bio.jl/
  2. Click on 'docs'
  3. Click on 'Contributing' at the navigation bar at the top
  4. Click on the hyperlink that says 'here' in "These guidelines are available here and it is recommended all new contributors read these guidelines before opening a pull request."

Context

I ran into this error when I went to the webpage to look at the capabilities of Biojulia and see what I could do if I want to contribute with some new features.
