Hello @christian-draeger, operationName is the way to go to modify the operationId and the suffix is for your schemas. If you want you can also use a transformer in the input config. To have access to your specification directly and modify it

If you use the axios client or angular it’s override the class name or the name of the object containing all the endpoints. It’s the title of your specification in fact

it turned out we can archive the model name prefixing with the following orval config:

// ...
    output: {
      // ...
      override: {
        components: {
          schemas: {
            suffix: 'FirstApiDTO',
          },
        },
      },
    },

But nevertheless being keen what the output title property should do. since it looks like its doing nothing.
and this is just a solution for the models and nit for operations.

i also managed to modify the operation names:

// ...
    output: {
      // ...
      override: {
        operationName: (operation: any, route: string, verb: any) => `${verb}${operation.operationId}FromFirstApi`,
      },
    },

but still being curious if this is the way to go to avoid name clashes between operations and schemas of different specs that would result in the same name and what title property is doing

Alright thanks for the feedback.
I guess the issue can be closed than πŸ™‚

Just out of curiosity, what is output.override.title there for?
