An alarm clock is not much without a clock and alarm module! Therefore, this project needs to interface with the RTC on the STM32 chip and use it to allow the user to set and see the time as well as setting an alarm.

This issue tracks the progress of interfacing with the RTC module.

As interaction is a two-way street, a display of some sort is necessary in addition to the user input. Perhaps a LED matrix or a7-segment display is enough, but an LCD would also work fine.

The alarm clock needs to interface with the user in some way. So far, only a quadrature encoder has been implemented, but a button with long and short press events would improve user input considerably!
