Prepare for 2023 website updates, ensure the codebase builds, update dependencies and README as needed.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Leaving dependencies and README as is may slow down progress or avoid adoption of security fixes in the supply chain.

This repo provided the website for GHC 2022 - the content will need to be updates for 2023.

The OSD Committee will start by adding comments here for general areas that will need to be updated. when we're all aligned we can open specific issues to make individual changes as needed.

AnitaB will have content for OSD 23 on the main website, and has decided they will link to this site for details.

I wanted to be an Open Source Contributor in the anitab-org

Could someone please tell me what all issues do you work upon, what are the contributions I can do and what are the Tech Stacks I need to be familiar with before starting contributing to some Repositories and become a full time contributor in this Community.

I am really very new to the Open Source
