If I try to download 'AbuseIPDB_Bulk_Checker.exe' Bitdefender automatically delete the file with the following message:
Feature: Antivirus
The file H:\Downloads\AbuseIPDB_Bulk_Checker.JjtXBI7O.exe.part is infected with Trojan.GenericKD.47061246 and was moved to quarantine.
Hi, I ran a PowerShell script to check bulk IP addresses from a .csv file format, It runs but does not generate an output file in the folder. I created a new key on abuseDB after creating an account. I am seeing an authentication failure on the PS console.
access denied (authentication_failed)
Your credential could not be authenticated: "credentials are missing." you will not be permitted access until your credentials are verified
I'm just wondering, apart from "Key": do I need to specify any username/password inside a script? or is there something else I am missing
A comparison of 3 IP addresses showed a vast discrepancy between what the Powershell script returns for the # of malicious reports versus manually checking the same IP address via the AbuseIPDB.com web site. Check 36.112.171.51 (script = 7507 / manual = 51513), 79.124.62.82 (4653 versus 94465) and 36.110.228.254 (4696 versus 104809). I redownloaded/rechecked the tallies with the current .PS1 file on Github and the conclusion was the same - the script is returning incorrect values.
