Phone camera to screen doesn't work about ngx-scanner HOT 9 CLOSED

Try to upgrade or use @barn/ngx-zxing for now, this should fix some unusual reported issues.

We are working on new releases that should fix most of the issues.

Okay, that's interesting. Basically this component just wraps aleris' zxing-typescript library. Can you provide the images you used as jpg or png? I could imagine there might be a difference in the encoding that causes issues.

I had some trouble using paper too, I noticed it was related to light. Turning on the flash on the smarphone truely rise up performances when scanning QR on paper.

I had to change my code to use directly zxing-typescript as it's and now it works perfectly (performance, screen, paper, even with a large capture).

Hm it works like a charm with my iPhone... Are you using an Android device?

Yes tested on 2 android devices with at least android 6+ with Google Chrome browser.

I have the same problem on my phone:

• Nexus 6P
• Android 8.1.0
• Chrome 63.0
  It works on the demo page of zxing-typescript, but not in the app I'm building using ngx-zxing.

In fact I tried with different QR code images I have, including examples from @jbrtrnd , still could not get it work.

update: tested on iPhone 6plus, iOS 11.2.5, the scanner works fine 🤔 .
