Tryed to load cpma 1.47, wouldn't Start match, kicked me back to menu, will try
adding
cpma maps to baseq folder
Defrag menu loaded, but woulnt load any maps
Got into an online server, got owned like a redheaded retarded stepchild, and
loved it

Corrected manifest to use sdk 3 instead of 4

Hello! :-)
I lunch game on my Samsung Spica This phone have Samsung S3C6410 800 Mhz
processor (ARMv6 with FPU), 256 MB, screen res is 320*240. Game is not
smoothly but I did't execept that ;) Game demo fps is 3 to 14 on normal
setting. I don't now how run timedemo without keyboard. Is possibilty to
compile port with ARMv6 support? I have no experience with Android SDK/NDK...

movements so it ends up in the lower right corner of the screen

hi,
first of all, you've done a great job! i love q3a and now there is a way
to view some demos directly on my mobile phone.. great! :)
whatever.
1) after i installed kwaak3 i got two program-shortcuts in my application-
list. this may be a bug. i don't know.
2) i if've read some comments it's not possible right now to view the fps
on a "no-keyboard"-mobile. but maybe you can give us the possibility to
benchmark the phone. i've seen the benchmark demo "four" but without a
timedemo command i can't examine. so maybe you can add a menu-entry called
"benchmark" or something like that.

i have all the files where they are need but when i open the app and hit
the start button it dose nothing whats wear is theres 2 apps and i tryed

is mapped to walk forward, and aiming with the

Was hoping for a nice and smooth framerate (wasn't expecting any movement

VERY low framerate - like, 1 FPS or less even
When sound is enabled, every sound is played 5 times (atleast)

2. Try jumping; cannot jump
3. Remap control key for jumping; still cannot jump
4. Exit game; make the default Android keyboard the active keyboard
5. Restart game; now I can jump

Graphics and sound are great. Still getting used to playing it with a
touchscreen. I appreciate the work. Not sure if this is a problem with
your port or with Better Keyboard, but there does appear to be a conflict.
I have not played long enough to see whether there are other problems with
the keyboard controls, but moving and shooting seem to work fine otherwise.

I am on a Moto Droid running Sholes Rom 2.0.5. (running at 600Mhz-1.2Ghz)
Everything is loaded into the appropriate folders and it seems to be
reading that just fine. I have killed all background apps and live
wallpaper. I get to the screen that shows "start" and "visit website". Hit
Start and the screen looks like it will boot up (i.e. goes to black) and
then pops back to the "Start"/"Visit Website" screen.
Any thoughts?

First of all-- it worked on my g1 1 w/cyanogenmod (overclocked to 528MHz
w/SetCPU), using the demo pak0 (that is, all legit) files.
I get the id logo animation and menu (keyboard input works, sound works but
is stuttery, and the mouse ball moves the cursor). Seemed to take anything
for CD-Key. Most menu options (setup, etc.) work, but I can't start a game
though because after selecting the level and "I can win" I get
I/ActivityManager( 143): Low Memory: No more background processes.
Then a bunch of these:
D/dalvikvm( 1942): GC freed 63 objects / 501224 bytes in 487ms
Then..
I/WindowManager( 143): WIN DEATH: Window{43cbd9a8
org.kwaak3/org.kwaak3.Game paused=false}
I/ActivityManager( 143): Process org.kwaak3 (pid 1942) has died.

W/UsageStats( 143): Unexpected resume of com.android.launcher while
already resumed in org.kwaak3
I/ActivityManager( 143): Low Memory: No more background processes.
Back to home. I doubt this will ever run flawlessly on the g1, but it
would be cool to see what kind of fps it gets on a rooted Dream w/overclock.
Pretty amazing to see this even starting up :) Congrats.

It actually runs beautiful on nexus one
But theres a shoot/move problem.
The pressing moves the character, and I can change his left/right movement
by touching the screen, its awesome
BUT then theres no way to shoot, going into the controls, if i make shoot
'tapping' or pressing the scroll ball, then all i can do is shoot and he
can't move anymore
So can you make 'tapping' a control, and pressing the button another control
or perhaps allow the 'volume buttons' to be used as an input
All you need is a little change and this game is VERY playable on the nexus
one to be honest.

I was having incredible success with a two thumbed approach; One on WASD
and the other on the Directional Pad. If we could optionally map mouse look
up and down to the directional up and down, you'll have a standard dual
joystick interface.
Not as good as keyboard and mouse, but good enough for people who have
some hours logged in console shooters.

Using the test kwaak.
SetCPU set to 400/600 ... min/max
NO SOUND - 1260 frames 49.9 seconds 25.2 fps 16.0/39.6/2072.0/15.1 ms
WITH SOUND - Unable to complete demo for statistics. Game crashes and I'm
right back at the start game launcher.

The radiosity generated static lightmaps are not displaying on my N1.
Other lightmaps such as weapons fire and light from rocket trails display
fine. I'm using kwaak3 test v1.1b. I have lightmaps selected in the
graphics setting menu.

expected: be able to enter/paste alphanumeric CD key. have CD key store
after it is entered. Possibly be able to copy a file from installed game on
a PC to the SD Card for this.
actual: CD key has to be skipped or re-entered each time you run kwaak3.
Unable to get soft keyboard to open on CD key page. unable to get
copy/paste to open on CD key page (typed key in a diff app and copied it to
clipboard, couldn't bring up anything to paste it.)
*Hard keyboard on Motorola Droid does numbers by tap ALT then tap
Q,W,E,R,T,Y,U,I,O or P but not on this screen.
**Workaround: like a PC, HOLD ALT and the right key (hold ALT and tap W to
get a 2.)
