Multiple containers per single domain

In response to a response to a review, which Firefox's site doesn't seem to permit replies to.

Currently, I'm able to use containers generated before I had installed this add-on, so I can actually right click my gmail shortcut and open it in one of my old containers to use that login. Assuming you can sort the displayed order of containers, you could have a button to create an additional, manually named container underneath the persistent/ephemeral container toggle. If you use the naming scheme "domain : customname" or similar, you could possibly filter the large list of containers to just those for that particular domain.

As for OAuth, some sites want to use, say, Google for its logins or otherwise want you to connect two different accounts together. Other sites, like for paying online bills with Vectren, will have separate domains for logging in and actually viewing your bill. It's not ideal for privacy, but it isn't always avoidable. Ideally this is handled by having the entire login process kept in the same container, which may require the user to manually toggle an option to temporarily open new domains in the same container - currently, I have to disable the extension altogether to log into these sites.

Donation page?

Hi guys,

I think your extension is very close to what I need. I would be happy to donate for the development, could you setup github sponsors page or patreon?

Settings sync

Seems like this extension cannot sync its settings with Firefox Sync across multiple devices. Could you fix that please?

Feature Request: Option to open in different container

Hi,

First, thanks for your add-on. Very lightweight... nice.

If I well understood your add-on, the present behavior opens tabs in the same container. So tracking is not really minimized.

Please, I have a simple request: Add an option to automatically open every tab in a new different container (randomly). The TemporaryContainer add-on has this function, but for me this add-on becomes too big and full of functions (that I don't need). I prefer your add-on, a lightweight small add-on that just open every tab in a new different separate container. The less the better.

Thank you!

Same Request: Auto-delete temporary containers per session

Hi @zncoder , it's been a while since last year, here I'm again, today please with a repeated request.

The problem is that your add-on (sometimes) doesn't delete temporary containers.
I can see same temporary containers accumulating and accumulating over the time, and your add-on is opening temporary containers over these same undeleted temporary containers.

I'm using your add-on with this other add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tabs-to-bookmark-groups/
I'm not an expert, but from my ignorance, I don't believe TabsToBookmarkGroups add-on is the culprit, because it works well with other temporary containers.

Anyway, please my request is very simple:

  1. During same browser session, always keep same temporary container, until a new tab is opened with same url or different url.

  2. When browser session is finished and browser closes, all temporary containers are deleted. Every new browser session should have zero saved temporary containers. By the way, that's the meaning of "temporary"... it'll be alive, until browser closes.

Hope you can do it! It'll be fantastic.
Thousand thanks to you in advance!

Big hug! : )
