It could be awesome if this way to login is supported since my premium account is linked with Google.

It's using oauth but that requires redirect back to vscode:// uri. Auth team at Grammarly has agreed to support that, I'm following up and expecting it to be done soon.

Couple more weeks, I might be on a solution.

I know this isn't a solution, but I mailed the Grammarly team to change my login method from Google to id and pass, and they did it. I really didn't mind giving up on the google login.

I am not sure how to handle OAuth in an extension (given I don't control the redirect URL). Any suggestions?

Just in case it helps, in https://github.com/vsls-contrib/chat/tree/master/oauth-service, I built a quick lambda function that can handle OAuth redirects, and then forward them to a vscode:// uri, which can be handled by the extension.

This is a great extension even with only the basic non-login functionality!
Signing with Google will enable the Grammarly streak weekly update emails.
