Is it possible to use jenssegers/laravel-mongodb instead of mongoLid?

Hi Zizaco,

I'm facing some problems. If I follow the instructions I get the error MongoLid driver is unknow. I've added all services and alias described in confide-mongo and I can create controllers with artisan so problem seems to be with MongoLid.

I've gone to MongoLid and checked if I extend user like is described there it works but I obviously lose the authentication provided by confide-mongo.

My question is if we just need to follow confide mongo guide to have it working or we've to make more changes to adapt Laravel to work with MongoLid. If not do you know why could I have the mongoLid error?

I've done a composer update and also composer dump-autoload but the problem persists

Class Zizaco\ConfideMongo\ConfideMongoRepository contains 1 abstract method and must therefore be declared abstract or implement the remaining methods (Zizaco\Confide\ConfideRepository::validate)

Occurs because a update on confide not has been updated on Mongo Confide.

I'm experiencing a problem while trying to activate my user account (via f.i http://localhost:8000/user/confirm/ea00ba93d264d2f18d44a1d1d8f4969d ). I get an error when Illuminate/Auth/Guard.php

Tries to :
128 :$user = $this->provider->retrieveByID($id);

It seems like laravel still want to use "­EloquentUserProvider" to do that, wich of course fails as I use confide-mongo.

Any idea how to fix that ?
