Application crashes with 'Access Violation' within a moment of playing any audio (from file or from rerouter) since moving to .NET 5.0.7

This is believed to be directly caused by an issue with .NET 5.0.7 and Naudio, naudio/NAudio#789 refers to the issue and is being dealt with by the library developers.

Pausing and then playing a track causes the track to resume about 4 seconds ahead of where it was paused.

The buffered wave providers used in the application use the default value for the ReadFully property, which is true. ReadFully always returns the requested number of bytes regardless of whether they are there or not, it pads out the array with zeros where there is no data

This is problematic as the code which interacts with the BufferedWaveProvider is written under the assumption that Read will return less than the requested amount or 0 when there is no data left. Because the ReadFully property is set to true this is never the case and causes glitching in the audio.

Expect a commit imminently to fix.

If you pause the track say 30 seconds into playing, and then resume, when the track finishes, the host will wait 30 seconds before switching to the next track. This is due to a bug in the way that the track position time is calculated.

If applicable, show the playing position of the current track.
