How to add a background to a layout - this is still a question which is asked in the forum.

The last questioner noted that he had read the section at

but felt it was quite confusing. - Rewrite this section?
What is more is that it needs some links from the layout section.

Okay, I've tweaked the 'adding a background' slightly, but don't think it's too far off. In kivy, it is just a bit more complex.

ps. There are a lot of changes but most were reverted due to a mistake on my part. Only ended up tweaking a few words/explanations. If you think it needs more changes, submit a PR of give me exact suggestions :-)

Now I'm starting with the transform Maxtrix docs. I see these need a LOT of work, so I'll create a branch and probably be working on this for a while.
