I think i might make a small documentation for virtualbox myself.
from kivybits.
Here my text suggestion.
Please format it and include it into the documentation and link to it from the manual how to make an android apk and from the download page and everywhere else where the virtual machine is mentioned.
Download the virtual hard disk file
To create an apk in the virtual machine go to
http://kivy.org/#download
and download one of the about 1gb big files on the bottom under virtual machine.
Extract the file and remember the location of the extracted vdi file.
Download virtual Box
Go to
virtualbox.org
and download the virtual box for your system.
Use Virtual Box
After starting the virtualbox click on "new" in the left top.
Then select linux and ubuntu 32
Then under hard drive use
"Use an existing virtual hard drive file"
Search your vdi file and enter it there.
Try the settings of your virtual machine:
Display:Video: Increase video ram
Enable 3d acceleration to improve the userexperience.
Start the desktop and follow the readme file there.
More informations about apk generation is also under:
http://kivy.org/docs/guide/packaging-android.html

Thanks. Yes, I think this warrants it's own page, also with some explanation on how to use the VM along with hints and tips. Will start on this...

Thanks. Done.
