Prerequisites:

  • Clone the repo:
git clone https://github.com/stanislav-chekmenev/debugging-dl-models
  • Please, create a new virtual environment with Python=3.10 inside code_debugging directory. Feel free to use any of your choice. I prefer venv.

Conda:

conda create --name <name> python=3.10
conda activate <name>

Virtual environment: For Ubuntu 22.04:

python3 --version # make sure you have python 3.10 installed
sudo apt install python3-venv
python3 -m venv <path/to/venv>
source <path/to/venv>/bin/activate
  • Upgrade pip, it might be of an old version
pip install pip --upgrade
  • Install requirements:
pip install -r requirements.txt
  • Install VS Code:

    • Follow this link for the installation details.
    • If you are on Linux Ubuntu starting from 16.04, then please use the following command:
     sudo snap install --classic code
  • Create a new project and choose the ealier created virtual env in VS Code:

    • Start VS Code and choose the folder for the project where you cloned the repo.
