needs some more responsive design. solutions

• make the sidebar appear on the bottom.
• make the banner automatically resize based on screen/window width.
• move the sidebar lower than the banner.

I use Google Chrome and get following error message when I attempt to jump to some external pages.

I can jump to some pages such as https://bemuse.ninja/ but browser's address bar won't change.

Both issues may be came from the frame embedded in http://bmwest.tk/ . Of course it works fine when I access http://bmwest.herokuapp.com/ .

It is better to register custom domain for Heroku app if possible.

Refused to display 'https://twitter.com/wosderge' in a frame because an ancestor violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "frame-ancestors 'self'".
Refused to display 'https://github.com/CircularRhythm/CircularRhythm/wiki/(Temporary)-How-to-create-notecharts-for-CircularRhythm' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'deny'.

I know the main concern was letting people link anything within the embed but this could possibly be solved by using a MIME resolver to identify image files. (I'm not sure how these things work myself)

When the width is too small, it seems like the navigation bar disappears underneath the banner.

Right now it is sorting by index number meaning the event list will sort from oldest to newest. (assuming you add events in an ascending order in the db)

Is it possible to pre-reserve logo image area when users load a page?

Each time the user access a page, first the top of the page doesn't show a logo, then the page is expanded vertically by image size, and then loads image.
This behavior might be a bit nuisance because the menu momentarily goes up so user's cursor would wander. (sorry for lack of expression)

I'm not familiar with html/css, so I don't know if it is possible.
If possible, please fix.

Either allowing DDL links to mp3/ogg/wav or SoundCloud embeds, preferably both.
I know the concern regarding SoundCloud embeds was that you potentially needed to resolve the song ID via Javascript which could lead to code injection.

let people log in to their submissions with a password instead of having them email the event organizer. currently, only the people with access to the database can edit entries which is inconvenient if someone is hosting an event for a third party.

Some sort of web-based administrator panel/login both for individual events and the entire system.
The sysadmin should be able to create and edit all events.
Event admin should be able to modify event-specific info and entries.
This is helpful when hosting events for a third party, as well as it being helpful for people wanting becgi to be more or less plug-and-play.

it's just there. taking up space. you could just as easily add a top-of-the-page title using markdown via database anyway.
we've already found that it looks bad together with the sidebar and in entry pages, and fixing it for each case would probably be more work than it would to just remove it entirely.
the event title is already in the navigation bar which is fine, imo.

Mostly self-explanatory.
Right now becgi doesn't tell you what fields you forgot to fill in or which ones had "bad" data.
It'd be helpful if becgi told you which specific fields were missing/bad.

This suggestion was made way back before Be-Music West but I'm taking bringing it back up here on GitHub.

I don't think this will be helpful for METTATUNES but definitely something to keep in mind for Be-Music West or other potential events.

couldn't figure out how to do this myself because python translates the brackets to normal text making it parse incorrectly in the html.

Anyway, both in the submission and the impre forms, it would be rather helpful if we linked to https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/wiki/Markdown-Cheatsheet since we shouldn't assume that everyone is familiar with Markdown syntax.

Allow users to leave the video ID for either YouTube or NicoVideo for embeds on the entry page.

i'm lazy and cba to figure this one out right now but i'm putting it on our to-do list because it looks fucking retarded when the footer is on the upper half of the screen.
