Zelda Randomizer Hud
This may be intentional, but items with multiple click levels don't stop at their highest level. This includes:
Sword, for example, goes like this
Inactive > Fighter Sword > Master Sword > Tempered Sword > Gold Sword > Fighter Sword
And the shield:
Inactive > Blue Shield > Fire Shield > Mirror Shield > Blue Shield
Only reporting because this is separate from the previous version, so if it's intentional I apologize and you can just close this.

What kind of license is ZeldaHud supposed to be provided under? I'd like to add the appropriate "license.md" file to my fork.
Pending an answer, I'll be assuming GPLv3, though I'd hope for something less restrictive.
Hello! I'm copying an issue from the Randomizer GitHub page here as there was mention of an issue with the HUD. Below is the full text of the issue. The last sentence being the issue relevant to the HUD.

Add tooltips to each object inside the HUD so that we know what each piece is. It's hard to determine which object is actually present when some of the images are identical in representation.
An example of multiple tooltips (only one would actually show when mousing over each object, example would not be actual behavior) has been attached.
This turns off all the trackers. However, counters retain their count if you click on them. Should the counters reset to 0?
Hi, I know it's not an issue with your program but every emulator I have tried only updates the Save RAM when I close the emulator. Is there one you recommend that saves with some regularity making the HUD useful for streaming?

First of all, great work on this little tool. I've seen it being used on quite a lot of randomizer streamers.
However, im having an issue trying to get it to work myself.
Why? cause the tool seems to behave very odly.
First of all, when i try to edit the icons and change their positions or add / remove icons, things start to get weird. Moving icons / changing positions works fine but adding or removing icons is turning out to be a pain.
Whenever I try to remove an icon, a lot of the times it doesn't remove the icon or removes a completely different one. When i try to add, sometimes it doesn't add it.
Another weird behaviour is sometimes when i start the auto-updater, it makes a bunch of the icons just disappear.
Also the heart counter isn't working for me. But this is a minor issue, i planed on removing it anyways.
I have prepared a small video that demonstrates this (or at least the icon add / remove issue).

This might be related to github removing older TLS protocols but I get this when loading the app. Disabling the Auto Update option in settings works around the issue.

An option too increase the size of the icons (even if just doubled) would be nice. The default size is too small for me and resizing the window affects only the window and nothing else.
This may somehow be associated to me but I'm seeing no guidance for this issue in any instructions or on the current or closed issues on your Git page here. I've had this problem since the first downloaded version of your HUD tool (HUDZelda.exe), and continues now that I've downloaded the newest version (zeldaGui.exe).
Anytime I set the auto-update on, it will black out most of the icons, select the flute, bomb, 3rd crystal, and 4th crystal as though I have obtained them, and never update. I'm using SNES9x, both 1.51 and latest version of 1.54.1. I've configured SNES9x to auto-save SRAM every second (was previously configured to every 30 seconds) and have both started a new save/new game/new SRM file and launched it before getting any items as well as loading it up for an existing SRM for a save that has multiple items. No matter what I do, it highlights those 4 items, blacks out most of them, and will not auto-update with items as I receive them. This is true whether I use a randomizer ROM from v5, v6, v7, the VT website's v8, or an original US ROM. This issue occurs regardless of ROM, emulator, clean installs, different versions of the HUD.
Hey Zarby. I hate to beat dead horses, but I promise I did (most of) my homework on this one before posting. I just downloaded your client for the ZeldaHUD, then downloaded the latest version of SNES9x, then generated a fresh ROM with the "SRAM Trace" Option set to yes. In my Emu settings, I selected Emulation > Settings, and set SRAM to auto-save 2 seconds after the last change. I select the SRM file after loading the ROM, and it sets flute, Bomb, and Crystals 3 and 4 to lit, then never updates. I honestly have no idea what I did wrong.
Downloaded the code and tried to run the application, but get nothing. I've tried running it in compatibility mode for Vista, 7 and 8. Running on a 2017 stock Razer Blade Laptop Win 10 64-bit. Any suggestions?
In the latest version of the HUD the bottles seem to take 2 clicks to get them to be filled with the first item.
So the flow goes something like this
Click once to change from inactive to active > click again to seemingly do nothing (is it skipping an item?) > Click again to fill with red potion
The same happens in reverse: right click to remove the potion > right click again to seemingly do nothing > right click once more to deactivate
