Open-source assets? about nfsiise HOT 3 CLOSED

Update: I have tried some of the tools.

Unfortunately, many of the links are broken, and I can't seem to be able to find the tools anywhere else... but I won't give up, I'll try again later.

I have had success using the QFS encoder/decoder, and I am currently in the process of creating new slides for car slideshows.

I have created a new repository to put my work in.
I will start commiting as soon as I have results that are pleasing enough and I make sure all images are redistributable of course.

Are there any tools for creating new assets for the game?

Probably not, but I don't know. I never tried disassembling assets for this game :D

I'd like to give it a try at creating, say, new textures for tracks.

It'll be difficult. I don't know their file formats and the game is in assembly code (I never tried).
