Usage

docker run -d --name=filerun \
-v <path to data>:/config \
-e TZ=Europe/Paris \
-e PGID=<gid> -e PUID=<uid> \
-p 80:80 \
zaggash/docker-filerun

Parameters

  • -p 80 - the port(s)
  • -v /config - where it should store config files and logs
  • -e PGID for GroupID - see below for explanation
  • -e PUID for UserID - see below for explanation
  • -e TZ for timezone information

It is based on alpine linux with s6 overlay, for shell access whilst the container is running do docker exec -it filerun /bin/bash.

User / Group Identifiers

Sometimes when using data volumes (-v flags) permissions issues can arise between the host OS and the container. We avoid this issue by allowing you to specify the user PUID and group PGID. Ensure the data volume directory on the host is owned by the same user you specify and it will "just work" ™.

Webui is on port 80

Error 500 after first start

hen I look at log/nginx/error.log is can see the following lines:

2020/06/30 08:20:59 [error] 282#282: *2 FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: PHP Fatal error:
The file /config/www/filerun/index.php was encoded with the Encoder for PHP 7.1 and can only run on PHP 7.1 or later.
If you are the administrator of this site then please upgrade to PHP 7.1 or later and install the corresponding ionCube Loader. in Unknown on line 0" while reading response header from upstream, client: 172.16.20.122, server: _, request: "GET / HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/run/php/php7.0-fpm.sock:", host: "172.16.10.82:83", referrer: "http://172.16.10.82:9000/"

How can this be fixed?

unRAID Template

Anyone have a template to run this in unRAID? I'm trying to create a template myself but having a hard time finding the docker run command.

Would be greatly appreciated if you can share the template if you have it.

No access from android app

I've stumbled upon a wierd issue. OAuth access via Android Filerun app doesn't work for some reason. It does work with the "official" image, but there are no an option to set UID/GUID variables though. Where could I find related logs in the container?

About database setup

Hi,

I have tried your docker image on Debian 8 with official nginx docker and it could display the setup webpage in the browser. When I try to setup the database during the installation step, I have some problems. When I set MySQL Hostname as normal, localhost, it displays MySQL: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory. When I set it as 127.0.0.1 or others, it says MySQL: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Connection refused. When I set is as localhost:80 or 127.0.0.1:80, it displays the pop windows setting up for very long time and seems nothing was done. May I get some help from you? I could provide with more details if needed. Thank you very much!

Where is the "user-files"

Hello, I thought I would try this container because the official one does this

Which breaks /user-files (where my media is mounted into the container), so I'm checking this container out (which seems to do linuxservers PGID/PUID stuff?) - so it looks good

My question is, what volume should I set for my media (the "/user-files") when the official container's volumes are "/var/www/html", and "/user-files".

filerun missing imagemagick

The docker seems to miss imagemagick for better thumbnail support. Might it be possible to simply add it to the image? Thanks
