Installation
Install with virtualenv.

The alternator is not charging, voltage is around 12.05 when running. I have another alternator that I should be able to use.
The fuel system is garbage, the Solex carb is not putting out enough fuel to the motor and the fuel pump is putting out too much pressure.
The jeep has been sitting outside for almost a year and a half now, it needs to be cleaned up.
It seems like this is a pretty common problem with ignition coils out there. I have the extra, so I'm going to try to reproduce the issue later in the week.
The wheels are currently kind of rusty, it would be nice to put a coat of paint on them. I'm thinking black paint.
It needs to be mounted to the roll cage.
We need a switch panel to mount switches to.
They need to be replaced.
The water in the radiator look gross, it needs to be flushed.
I'm going to fix the fuel system for real this time, the fuel line coming out of the bottom of the gas tank is kinked and leaking. The tank is empty, so is the carb and fuel system. It's time to simplify the setup.
So far, I have a Carter YF 938 SD carburetor and an AC 572 fuel pump. Both were purchased from Old Jeep Carbs, LLC. They are original equipment for the jeep.
The fuel line is going to be 1/4 inch rubber line. Already have fittings for the pump and the carb.
We need to figure out the water temperature. Picked up one from Tractor Supply, the original wiring for it is still in the jeep.
Ordered one from Amazon, we'll see how it looks.
Last weekend I took a trip to Tennessee and picked up a Warn HS9500I winch. It's a best and it needs to be mounted and wired in. Right now the exiting bull bar and other mounting brackets need to go.
It would be nice for the jeep to have a tachometer. This video explains how to add one to the coil.
It's not pumping fuel at all, it needs to be replaced.
The lights and wiring for the lights need to be removed from the front bumper.
I'm not a fan of how it looks, maybe it should go.
The left side is missing it's grease zerk, it needs to be replaced.
The jeep needs to be safer, so we need seat belts.
The passenger side works great, the drivers side is broken.
They are pretty broken and need to be replaced.
The old ones are dirty because the fuel mixture is too rich, I need to fix that too.
I am not a fan of this type of screw, it needs to be replaced with grade 8 bolts.
We are going to rebuild the fuel system.

The bracket needs to be cleaned up.
Once the jeep warms up and drives for a bit, the brake lights stay on. Something is wrong with the brake light switch.
The jerry can holder is a mess, it needs to be refinished.
Most of the brakes are missing parts.
I removed the headlight buckets and wiring while waiting on the paint to dry on the leaf springs. They're currently being stripped. I should paint them tomorrow and start on the wiring harnesses.
It does not work, although it looks like the temperature and gas gauges may work.
The grease points on the jeep are original and really gross. I'm going to replace it all with new fittings and grease the jeep.

I started removing bolts and broke a few. It needs to be fixed.
I need to take a look at the exhaust valves and possible adjust them.
I'm not a big fan of the location of the fuel pump and fuel filter, it needs to be moved to the other side of the engine.
The bracket that holds the bracket to the headlight bucket is crushed and needs to be fixed.
The jeep needs to be rewired with modern relays. I've already ordered some from amazon.
The blinkers do not work.
The mirror is rusty and needs to be rebuilt
The ignition system needs to be rewired with a relay and a switch to control it.
The license plate bracket needs to be restored. It is currently disassembled and soaking in Evapo-rust. It needs to be painted and reassembled.
The light is also broken and need to be replaced or repaired.
Some parts of the Jeep look pretty rusty and need some paint. This is kind of an on-going project.
The latch hardware was gross, it has been replaced.
This weekend I started pulling apart the Carter YF (not sure what model) that came with the CJ. It may be worth it to restore it and use it instead of the Solex.
