chocolatey-packages's Issues

Migrating to automatic packages

I had some free time and migrated some of your packages to automatic packages. I don’t know if you read about that topic previously, but automatic packages are awesome and will save you a lot of time.

You can clone this repository, create a new one with your GitHub account and push it: https://github.com/TomOne/chocolatey-automatic-packages-yoshimov

I did nearly all the work for you. You only have to create the folder %appdata%\Ketarin on your Windows system and put the jobs.db file into it. Then do the points 4 and 5 described here: https://github.com/chocolatey/chocolatey/wiki/AutomaticPackages#setup

Then you only have to start Ketarin, select all packages, right click and then “Force download”. This will automatically update your packages.

I disabled automatic pushing to the Chocolatey Gallery. If you are sure that everything works fine, just enable it by deleting /disablepush in the first command line like described in point 16.

I you have questions, just contact me or read the wiki page about automatic packages.

Please constantly run Ketarin to update your automatic packages

I use some of your automatic packages constantly (Audacity, FreeFileSync, UltraVNC, UNetbootin). Don’t you have access to a Windows machine every day and can run Ketarin manually or automatically? That would be great, because otherwise the automatic packages lose its sense a bit.

android-sdk hasn't been updated in over a year

The android-sdk has had updates from Google in the past year but the chocolatey package that is released onto the Chocolatey gallery is over a year old.

I have tried to contact you through Chocolatey about the package being outdated. Are you still maintaining the package? If you don't want to maintain it anymore, can you add me as a maintainer so that I can update it?
