Tuts+ Tutorial: React Native: Creating Your First Android App

Instructor: Hathibelagal Ashraff

Owing to its modular, declarative and rather unconventional approach to web-app development, ReactJS, a JavaScript library developed by Facebook, has lately become extremely popular among web developers. With React Native, Facebook now tries to bring the same approach to cross-platform mobile app development.

In this tutorial, I'm going to help you get started with React Native by showing you how to build a very simple English-German dictionary app for Android using just JavaScript and JSX.
