after having the app hang a couple times, i've finally got it stable after a couple quits and reopens. i was wondering if the default settings are to only add shows i watch from itunes/appletv to my watched list, i don't want anything currently in my iTunes added, since i've done it manually already. some sopranos episodes were added, about 20, and i deleted them off trakt.

also, i was wondering if there is a way to make some shows not count, ie. if my gf watches Glee, i don't want that added to my trakt as seen.

lastly, i was hoping for a way to remove the icon from my doc, and just have it running with the menubar item as a way to open it.

What's the largest library this is supposed to work with. I have 700+ movies and 60+ TV shows and the app hangs indefinitely when trying to do an iTunes import. Any plans to support larger libraries?

Launching Traktable on OSX 10.10 GM3 results in 100% CPU Usage and an "Application not responding" in the Dock when CTRL-Clicking Traktable.

I have a randomly-generated, 24-character password with non-ASCII characters for the trakt.tv service. The service accepts this password without issue, but Traktable simply says "Failed", even though the same password works on the site.

Is this a known issue?

I am trying to use Traktable for the first time, however it keeps hanging when I click Manual Sync. I have so far tried v0.5.2, 0.5.1 and 0.5 however the same result (spinning beach ball and/or the crash dialog)

I have a moderate size library of 165 movies and 3150 episodes of TV Shows

Any ideas on how to get this working?

Does Traktable have some kind of auto sync with iTunes? I've been playing with it but I'm still not sure how's the best way do deal with it. Also, what I really like would be for it to just find new stuff that is now seen and mark it as seen on Trakt without me doing anything.

For now, the only thing I've seen it do is find new stuff after* I click "Import from iTunes"

*after means after it freezes, crashes and restarts again and somehow it eventually shows the new stuff.

Am I doing this wrong?

I'm having issues with the movie part of Traktable 0.4.2:
It detects all my movies correctly and also adds them to trakt. However, they are not marked as watched on trakt.

Example Log Entry for a movie that is watched in iTunes, but does not get marked as watched on tract:

It would appear that Command+V doesn't work for pasting my password from my password manager into Traktable. I can right-click and choose "Paste", however.

It's been a long time since there has been an update for this app. As this app is a hobby and all the work on this app is done in my spare time, the necessary update to support Yosemite and fix the broken sync is still not here. Personal stuff toke all the time and energy I had these last months. I tried to get a simple version working today for Yosemite but it seems to much work for me alone to fix it soon.

This is why I decided to do a complete rebuild of the app for Yosemite. It ain't fun to debug for hours as the sync was broken from the start. The coming weeks/months I'll start over and do it right from the start. Again, this project was en is a hobby so I don't feel any pressure to release soon. But if anyone likes to contribute in any way your always welcome. And if you can not contribute in code, please donate and help me pay for a Apple Development account or books for the necessary research etc.

Just discovered this app and tried to implement it with my iTunes library. I have a rather large collection, and am running under Mavericks latest version, with iTunes in its latest version.

I tried the import of the library as suggested after reading a few topics here, but nothing seems to import. I get a notification "Starting iTunes library import", but nothing in the queue or happening on the interface.

For info, as I have a rather large volume of files (>2TB), they're located on a Time Capsule (accessible via WiFi) and stored there, if that has anything to do with the mapping.

If you have a fix for this kind of problem let me know! ;)

I'm new to Trakt.tv and have only added about 25 titles. Yet, Traktable has been stuck on the initial "Syncing…" page for 10 minutes (although the progress bar indicates that sync is complete). I can't imagine it should take this long.

I'm on a 2014 MacBook Pro running the Yosemite beta. (I've seen no sync-related issues with any other apps in Yosemite.)

Searching for suport for EL Capitan

Would be great if it's also put inside the Collection area of Trakt, as right now it only shows up as played. I'm assuming if it's existing in your iTunes library in the first place, it probably means you "own" it, so should be in collection. What do you think?

The very first time I launched Traktable, it complained at me with a dialog box. The text implied that I'd made a mistake, when in fact, I'd only just launched it for the very first time.

Instead of telling me I messed-up, why not offer the option to enter my credentials? Better yet, does trakt.tv support OAuth? That would be safer and more secure for end-users.
