Runs an incognito Chrome browser

  • aimed at this URL: https://github.com/Adjectival
  • targets titles of repos using class names
  • collects repo titles into array (list comprehension)
  • prints repo titles in CLI
  • prints languages & stars from scraped repos
  • match languages with repos

Install

  • ensure you have virtualenv for your python3
  • cd scrape1/
  • virtualenv -p python3 scrape3
  • pip install -r setup.py
  • python scrape.py

Development Milestones

  • scrape number of commits per repo (or similar field, one http level lower)
