Numba version mismatch issue about nplocate HOT 2 CLOSED

A bit irrelevant note. I once had problem upgrading the numba package for anaconda supported python, with the following error message,

ERROR: Cannot uninstall 'llvmlite'. It is a distutils installed project and thus we cannot accurately determine which files belong to it which would lead to only a partial uninstall.

I eventually fixed it by manually delete the llvmlite package in the ........./pythonX.Y/site-packages folder.

print(llvmlite.__file__)

from this discussion it is possible that the number version is close to 0.51
