The form types registry cannot be validated against its DTD.

Errors include:

element field: validity error : Element field was declared EMPTY this one has content
element field: validity error : Element field does not carry attribute label

I'm not sure what the original intent was (eg. should we add label attributes where they're missing or make them optional? If we make field not empty does it take an option which some of them have, or a value which others have?)

I think 9a50156 is a valid fix for the first error listed above.

@guusdk sent the following note to the [email protected] list back in January:

A quick search shows that there are multiple implementations of bridges and transport between Matrix and XMPP (in various states of completeness). This points at a real-world demand for interoperability between the two.

To facilitate this, the Service Discovery Identities registry, as published on https://xmpp.org/registrar/disco-categories.html, should include a definition for Matrix in the category section.

This seems reasonable and I'll assign it to myself.

The stream feature urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-session was defined in section 3 of RFC 3921, but has been dropped in 6120/21

The feature is incorrectly listed in https://xmpp.org/registrar/namespaces.html with a reference to 6121. That should probably point to 3921 instead.

The registar used to be accessible at https://xmpp.org/registrar/ but no longer is (likely caused by the server loss we suffered earlier this year).

Message styling recently became a draft standard, but its registrar considerations section has not yet been followed.
