Looks like the shaders on ShaderToy.com use a standard set of uniforms and a couple of standard functions. If gdx-shadertoy supported those it looks like you could just copy and paste stuff over, which would be Awesome(tm).

I'm getting started with GLSL (which is why I'm playing around with gdx-shadertoy). I could try submitting PRs, but they would probably be terrible... ¯_(ツ)_/¯ ...but happy to try if that would help.
