AWKYDO

AWKYDO will keep your Desktop organized!

AWKYDO is a handy tool that helps you manage the mess of items on your desktop.

You can group Icons together, align these groups on your screen and stash all files into a folder automatically when you shutdown your computer.

This project is in early dev and I'm still learning to work with the Windows API, so don't expect it to work at the moment.

Add Build/ Installation Script

Notification Icon Menu

Add a context menu for the notification icon in the system tray.
It should have options for closing AWKYDO and open a settings window.

Getting Desktop Background Handle

Find a way to reliably get the Window Handle for the Desktop Background. It is a normal WorkerW Window that has only the Desktop window as it's parent which makes it nontrivial to get its handle.

Wrong Background Handle is obtained when there is a background image

The WorkerW that is used to set the background color of the desktop in single color mode is not present when using an image as desktop background. This will be solved when implementing the features described in #5

Create Overlay Window for every screen

Clear Background on Close

At the moment the AWKYDO logo stays on the background even though it's a separate window.
Ways to bypass this could be redrawing the original Desktop window on overlay window close or somehow clearing everything that has been drawn to the overlay window.
