Octopress does this out of the box, but there's probably a jekyll solution as well. Whoever fixes this gets to decide the best method.

After all other release-blocker issues are addressed, get final sign-off from Wes, JFH and Jonatan. Then, JFH can switch the DNS over.

This could basically just be a link to the wymeditor.no.de examples page plus an explanation. Could also throw up some screenshots here.

  It also makes it easy to add things like categories, social media sharing, disqus comments, etc etc
  I think it's a better tool, but it doesn't mean moving to that right now is worth the effort compared to just getting something up to iterate from
  I'm not sure which is the better approach
  So maybe I just throw up the issues and we punt on whether octopress is the best way to solve them. Let whoever actually addresses them make that decision :)

  I've never done a jekyll => octopress migration myself, but I imagine the theme will be where the effort lies.

  Oh great. It will probably be pretty straight forward then. Just a matter of changing some color/layout options on the default octopress theme to mimic what you've done so far

We want links around the web that go to URLs on the old site to return useful content. We can solve this by a combination of setting up redirects to new pages and by matching the old URL scheme were appropriate.

All of the old URLs should either get a page with similar content to the original content or should do a permanent-redirect to a page with that content.

We want our blog posts to be automatically announced on the @wymeditor twitter account. Not all core devs have access to this account, and it's kind of a pain to add another step.

• Tag posts that should be tweeted with the category announcement
• Take advantage of feedburner's auto-twitter functionality for the "announcement" RSS feed

• Explains why the links are there
• Links to policystat and cleverway
• Logo links?
