The site should link to the cargo repository

The website includes instructions for using cargo, but doesn't include any information about where to get cargo from in the first place.

Add a FAQ entry "why do binaries have Cargo.lock in version control, but not libraries?"

This question comes up relatively often on IRC (etc.) so it would be nice to have the motivation written down somewhere that's easily linkable.

There are no installation instructions for existing Rust users

I'm not sure if rustup.sh is safe to use on top of an installation created by homebrew, and the script unfortunately doesn't support installation of cargo only - rust-lang/cargo#229

I think it would be better if crates.io recommended a script that can detect whether there is an existing compatible installation of rustc and installs only cargo in that case.

And please do not fix it be dynamically hiding and showing stuff. html can deal with different screen sizes just fine without that. Simply removing the width attribute on main fixes it.
