repodepo's Issues

System requirements

Hi, sorry for repeatedly opening new issues.

With what kind of system did you use to generate the final large data set?
I setup a 8GB Ram, i5, Thinkpad X1 Carbon (2020) with Linux Mint and roughly 240 GB of disk space hoping I could run the version where the package argument is None.

My Python script got killed unfortunately and I am now sceptical whether it will end up working out. So if you could let me know what your system specs were, that would be great.

database files

Hi, I've read in readme.md that the repository contains "A ready-to-use SQLite file sqlite/rust_repos_2022_09_07_export.db" and "postgresql/data/

.csv CSV files (one per table) used in the import.sql script", however I am not able to find them, does it mean that the only way to get the dataset is to download the scripts and generate the dataset by myself? I'm new to database systems and Thank you in advance.

CPU affinity

Hi,

first of all Thank you for the amazing work!

I am trying to rerun your repo in https://github.com/wschuell/repo_datasets but I get an error here:

db.add_filler(commit_info.CommitsFiller()) Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> File "/Users/user/path/repo_datasets/src/repodepo/repodepo/fillers/commit_info.py", line 40, in __init__ self.workers = len(psutil.Process().cpu_affinity()) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ AttributeError: 'Process' object has no attribute 'cpu_affinity'

Do you know what might cause this and how I can potentially fix that? Again, thank you! Best Aaron. If you do not have time to answer, I appreciate a short message that you will not have time to address it.

API keys

Hi

as in the other issue: I am trying to rerun the code in your other repo. Though, it seems even though I supply valid API keys in env. variables, I still get the error that the keys are invalid.

Can you confirm that this code still works for you and this has nothing to do with some updates in the APIs etc.?

Best
Aaron

Again: Thank you!
