Notification if the CoreOS VM stops unexpectedly.

VM fails to boot, stalls at network established. This typically happens when the RktMachine binary is changed. Currently needs a reboot to resolve.

The tools.qcow2 image is used in CoreOS VM boot init to copy binaries to the VM if they are not already present. This image can be unmounted following use.

Note: Can't do RemoveWhenUnneeded=true in systemd configuration because the service is a oneshot with Remain=true that is a dependency of another service.

The core user on the CoreOS VM cannot write to the /Users/ NFS mount. This is inconvenient since transfering data off the CoreOS VM needs a sudo for the write.

Create Base.lproj and add internationalised string support.

Initial language list:

• German
• Chinese (Mandarin)
• Spanish

Remove the get_latest_rktmachine_version.command script and reimplement in Swift instead. Needs Swift JSON parser and network request.

Decompose the ensureEnvironmentInstalled function. It is currently too large, would also benefit from helper function to check file existence and write if necessary.

Remove the start Terminal script and show the console log in an application window instead.

Possibly useful StackOverflow question.

Add Swiftlint to project and fix warnings.

On startup, there are warnings logged about corectld not running, etc. Suppress this logging.

Include troubleshooting notes on mounting ~/.rktmachine/root.qcow2 for data recovery.

Use QEMU? OSXFUSE? What is ext4 filesystem support like on macOS?

Improve the osascript dialogue so it is branded with the RktMachine app branding for confidence.

Disable the stop and ssh options in menubar icon menu if the CoreOS VM is not running. Disable start if the machine is already running.

Just downloaded the latest build. When the VM starts I get the following,

Use Sparkle to automatically install RktMachine updates.

After freshly installing RktMachine 1.0.0 and running it for the first time, I get:
