currently it is fully opaque. possibly make it partially transparent.

Would be cool to add a counter that ticks up the number of seconds saved from the extension.

The last portion of podcast does not get fast forwarded or skipped if it has silence until the end. Need to modify the code to check the ends as well as make sure that the start of the podcast gets checked too.

Currently the time just skips or fast forwards whenever it encounters a specific circumstance without warning.

Would be nice to add some red lines on the timeline to represent the parts that will be skipped

In some cases when you first load the video, the fast forward symbol does not appear.

One possible solution is to make it set its visibility to the current boolean value after it is created to make sure it is in sync even if it is loaded after the video first starts fast forwarding.

There are many files that are not used anymore due to being carried over from a different project. Need to delete them to reduce the clutter

Add some page where you can configure the following:

• minimum required time to skip some period.
• padding for the skipped periods
• speed for the fast forward of those periods
