arduino-google-maps-api's Issues

Fix build

Issue with the build where it is trying to build the non referenced header, but because its not referenced its not finding its dependencies

OLED DISPLAY

how can I display this data on OLED ? Perhaps SSD1306 ?

Directions

Would it be possible to get step-by-step navigation and display it on a smal OLED display?

I'd like to have a satnav on my electric scooter...

SSL Client Memory allocation failure & WifiClientSecure Start Failures

Have had a go at it but it seems to be out of my depth, serial output provides the following:

28381371][E][ssl_client.cpp:37] _handle_error(): [start_ssl_client():267]: (-32512) SSL - Memory allocation failed
[28381371][E][WiFiClientSecure.cpp:135] connect(): start_ssl_client: -32512

Is around this part of the code:

Support traffic times from multiple routes (Directions API?)

A user on reddit requested that the API supports traffic times on multiple routes, as in there are multiple routes to get from A-> B, which one is the fastest. I think this is a worth while feature

It seems like the Directions API will support this. It does seem like the response is going to be pretty big though as it's giving step by step directions.

User is currently trying to implement but I thought it would be good to track here

Support for parameter "avoid"

Great API, was just about to hack up your YouTube API to get a "traffic" api, but here we are!

I always try to avoid a toll road near me, so the ability to set parameter "avoid" would be great use. The "avoid" parameter allows only one argument from the following available list:

avoid=tolls
avoid=highways
avoid=ferries
avoid=indoor

Would be great to add this in?

Steve

cert?

Hi, I will admit to being new to SSL but if there a way to use a root cert or thumbprint. I'm getting zero's in the response with the sketch and suspect this is missing? I could be wrong though. API is there and works via a url in chrome
