We should include the capability to simulate storage units in the system (e.g. water reservoirs in a water network).

@citizen93 and @danieladshead both require slightly different formulations of a MCF model, so it would be good to build shared modules that could be combined in different ways.

• Both need timesteps - years or days
• Both need the nodal balance, requirements and transformation
• Only Dan needs capacity expansion variables, constraints and parameters
• Both need operational cost estimatations
• Dan may need to add new variables and objective functions

It might be beneficial for certain users to have the multi-commodity framework formulated in Pyomo instead of Julia. This would also be interesting in terms of comparing computation efficiencies.

At present, the yaml data specification is very verbose, which makes it difficult to structure a model with more than 10 nodes and edges.

An alternative option would be to use multiple csv files with columns for parameters. These could then be easily edited in a spreadsheet, or text editor.

If losses not present in yaml file edge list, the transformation constraint is not correctly generated for the edge (e.g. outflow == inflow)
