#####With Luajit

$sudo make LUAJIT=/usr/local/lib install clean

###Don't Support Lua on Mac OS, But Support Luajit!

Start

###Single Loop local L = require('coevent') L(function() local cok,err = cosocket.tcp() local r,err = cok:connect('www.qq.com', 80) if not r then print('Connect Error:', err) else cok:send('GET / HTTP/1.0\r\n') cok:send({ 'Host: www.qq.com\r\n', 'User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0\r\n', 'Connection: close\r\n\r\n', }) local datas,datas_c,data_len = {}, 1, 0 while true do local r,e = cok:receive('*l') if r then datas[datas_c] = r data_len = data_len+#r datas_c = datas_c+1 else if e then print('Read Error:', e) end break end end

        print('Readed:', data_len)
        cok:close()
    end
end)

###Multi Loop local L = require('coevent')

function test_case(test_id)
    local cok,err = cosocket.tcp()
    local r,err = cok:connect('www.qq.com', 80)
    if not r then
        print('Connect Error:', err)
    else
        cok:send('GET / HTTP/1.0\r\n')
        cok:send({
            'Host: www.qq.com\r\n',
            'User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0\r\n',
            'Connection: close\r\n\r\n',
            })
        local datas,datas_c,data_len = {}, 1, 0

        end

        print('#'..test_id..' Readed:', data_len)
        cok:close()

        return data_len
    end
end

L(function()
    local t1 = newthread(test_case, 1)
    local t2 = newthread(test_case, 2)

    print(coroutine_wait(t1)) --print readed len
    print(coroutine_wait(t2)) --print readed len
end)

Main Directives

syntax: startloop(function)

local L = require('coevent')
L(function()
    -- async IO codes
end)

cosocket Directives

###cosocket.tcp() syntax: cok = cosocket.tcp([ssl = true])

Creates and returns a TCP or stream-oriented unix domain socket object, The following methods are supported on this object:

  • connect
  • send
  • receive
  • close
  • settimeout

###cok:connect syntax: ok, err = cok:connect(host, port, [pool_size, 'pool_key'])

Attempts to connect a TCP socket object to a remote server.

###cok:send syntax: ok, err = cok:send(data)

Sends data without blocking on the current TCP connection.

The input argument data can either be a Lua string or a (nested) Lua table holding string fragments.

###cok:receive syntax: data, err = cok:receive(pattern?)

The input argument data can either be '*l', '*a' or a number.

  • '*l': reads a line of text from the socket. The line is terminated by a Line Feed (LF) character (ASCII 10), optionally preceded by a Carriage Return (CR) character (ASCII 13). The CR and LF characters are not included in the returned line. In fact, all CR characters are ignored by the pattern.

  • '*a': reads from the socket until the connection is closed. No end-of-line translation is performed;

*If no argument is specified, then it is assumed to be the pattern 'l'

###cok:colse syntax: ok, err = cok:close()

Closes the current TCP or stream unix domain socket. It returns the 1 in case of success and returns nil with a string describing the error otherwise.

Socket objects that have not invoked this method (and associated connections) will be closed when the socket object is released by the Lua GC (Garbage Collector) or the current client HTTP request finishes processing.

###cok:settimeout syntax: cok:settimeout(msec)

Set the timeout value in milliseconds for subsequent socket operations (connect, receive, and iterators returned from receiveuntil).

###cok:setkeepalive

syntax: cok:setkeepalive(size, ['pool key'])

Puts the current socket's connection immediately into the cosocket built-in connection pool and keep it alive until other connect method calls request it or the associated maximal idle timeout is expired(60 sec).

thread Directives

###newthread

syntax: t = newthread(function() end, ...)

Creates a user Lua coroutines with a Lua function, and returns a coroutine object.

Similar to the standard Lua coroutine.create API, but works in the context of the Lua coroutines created by alilua.

###wait

syntax: return = wait(t)

syntax: returns = wait({t1, t2, t3, ...})

Waits on child "light threads" and returns the results (either successfully or with an error).

###swop

syntax: swop()

Sleeps for the little time without blocking.

for i=1,10000 do
    swop() --auto sleep a little time
    print(i)
end

###sleep

syntax: sleep(msec)

Sleeps without blocking.

sleep(1000) --1 second

eio Directives

###eio.open() syntax: fh = eio.open('/path/file', ['w|r|a'])

Open a file, the mode specified in the string mode. It returns a new file descriptor, or, in case of errors, nil plus an error message.

The mode string can be any of the following:

  • "r" read mode (the default);
  • "w" write mode;
  • "a" append mode;

The following methods are supported on this object:

  • write
  • read
  • seek
  • sync
  • close

###fh:write(data, [offset])

###fh:read(length, [offset])

###fh:seek(pos, 'cur|set|end')

###fh:sync()

###fh:close()

###eio.mkdir('/path/target', [(int)mode])

Attempts to create the directory specified by pathname.

###eio.stat('/path/target')

Gathers the statistics of the file named by filename.

###eio.chown('/path/target', user, [group])

Attempts to change the owner of the file filename to user|group. Only the superuser may change the owner of a file.

###eio.chmod('/path/target', (int)mode)

Attempts to change the mode of the specified file to that given in mode.

###eio.unlink('/path/file')

Deletes filename. Similar to the Unix C unlink() function.

###eio.rmdir('/path/dir')

Attempts to remove the directory named by dirname. The directory must be empty, and the relevant permissions must permit this.

###eio.rename('/path/target', '/path/to')

Attempts to rename oldname to newname, moving it between directories if necessary. If newname exists, it will be overwritten.

###eio.readdir('/path/dir')

Returns the name in the directory. The entries are returned in the order in which they are stored by the filesystem.

###eio.isdir('/path/dir')

Tells whether the given filename is a directory.

###eio.isfile('/path/file')

Tells whether the given file is a regular file.

###eio.exists('/path/to')

Tells whether the given file is exists. return file type: [dir|file].

Other Directives

###open_log

syntax: open_log('path to log file')

Open a logfile to the logger for a program.

path syntax: /tmp/error.log or /tmp/error.log,3 (level=NOTICE)

Log Level:

DEBUG,INFO,NOTICE,WARN,ALERT,ERR = 1,2,3,4,5,6

###LOG

syntax: LOG(WARN, 'string msg', 'msg2', 3) syntax: LOG(WARN, {'string msg', 'msg2', 3})

###md5

syntax: key = md5('string')

###sha1bin

syntax: key = sha1bin('string')

###hmac_sha1

syntax: key = hmac_sha1('string')

###base64_encode

syntax: estr = base64_encode('string')

###base64_decode

syntax: dstr = base64_decode('string')

###escape

syntax: estr = escape('string')

Escapes a string for use in a mysql query.

Characters encoded are NUL (ASCII 0), \n, \r, , ', ", and Control-Z.

###escape_uri

syntax: estr = escape_uri('string')

Url Encoding

###unescape_uri

syntax: dstr = unescape_uri('string')

Url Decoding

###time

syntax: t = time()

Returns the current time measured in the number of seconds since the Unix Epoch (January 1 1970 00:00:00 GMT).

###longtime

syntax: msec = longtime()

Returns the current Unix timestamp with microseconds.
