awesome-surveys's Issues

options for survey name display on frontend

Currently, the survey name (title) is wrapped in a

tag which is probably less than semantically correct. Need to have options to wrap it in a header tag and/or options to assign it a class (or at least hard-code a class in) for styling as well as option to display it or not.

Email notification

Provide option for email notification on survey completion - both admin and user

Comment boxes go beyond edge of frame

First, let me apologize for a few things: I am not WP savvy and I am not entirely sure I am articulating my question/issue very well. The problem may be entirely fixable by me, my knowledge/skill is just too limited for me to do so.

So, I have a (test) survey but the text from either questions or possible answers can extend so far to the left that it disappears until finally, after about 60 characters (to include spaces) it will reappear to the right (wrap around). This does not happen for a normal "blog" post but only for the Survey's.

Now, if I turn off the Survey option to include CSS this problem goes away however, a different problem presents itself - that is one where any kind of list (like checkboxes) becomes horrible.

So, it seems like it may be something to do with the CSS being included but what/where I have no idea. All I really need is for the "frame" (my word) to be not as big so the words will wrap around.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can't install version 2.0. Did you know about this issue? It says:

'Countdown' for textarea

If I have mad a survey with a textarea - And set i to a Maximum Length (in number of characters) of 500. Then I ask for a countdown i number of characters.

If I have typed in 50 characthers the countdown should say 450 characthers left.

Duplicate not working

click the "duplicate" link - only a new post is created - none of the meta seems to get copied

number of characters validation no longer working

steps to re-create:

Create a survey with a text input, give that text input a character limit, save survey and use shortcode to display it on the front end.

Expected result: text box limited to the number of characters.

Actual result: no limit enforced.

pie chart

I see the results in the form of pie chart?

Export Capability

need some way to export survey results. If you're interested in this type of feature, please give me some ideas on how you think this should work.

Invalid argument supplied for foreach()

as reported by user JanSnowski on .org:
Hi Will, I am trying out your survey plugin on a site I use for trying out stuff before I use it on my main sites. I have hit a snag after I create the survey and save then go to get the shortcode I get the message that I paste below. I also paste the page source code from lines 366 - 381.

javascript error

I came across an issue in the plugin. When I click on the question or answer link in admin area to edit, and submits without changing, It shows javascript error in console.

It reads as below:
TypeError: b.data is undefined.....

textarea with 'required' breaks the form editor

likewise, entering text in a textarea also breaks updating the form.

  1. remove the 'required' class dynamically w/ JavaScript
  2. setting textarea to disabled won't work like it does with other input types - probably need to wrap the textarea in a div so that text can't be entered
