Pegasus Workflow Execution Instances

This repository contains workflow execution instances generated from Pegasus workflow executions. The instances hosted in this repository use the WfCommons JSON format for describing workflow executions.

Repository Structure

Workflow execution instances are organized into sub-folders within this repository. Each sub-folder represents a workflow application, which itself contains sub-folders for workflow executions in different computing platforms.

Workflow Simulator

The execution instances provided in this repository are compatible to any simulator framework that implements the WfCommons JSON format.

pegasus-instances's Issues

Are file sizes in KB?

Please confirm whether the file sizes in provided instances are specified in KB (as stated WfCommons JSON Schema).
I'm asking because in this paper it is stated that the footprint of the Epigenomics instance with 1095 tasks is 8.25 GB.

изображение

However, assuming that the file sizes are in KB, the footprint (sum of all files) should be 1000 times more - 8257 GB.
For example, only two files of the first task already amount for 280 GB.

So either the file sizes are specified in bytes (do not conform to Schema) or there is mistake in the paper. Please clarify.
