burner-email-providers's Introduction

A list of burner email providers

Throw away email addresses (burner emails) are great for single use signups where you would like the content but rather not give up your email.

I'm okay with people using burner email addresses to get my free content, I just need to be able to filter them out of my list so it doesn't drive up bounces and hurt deliverability.

Please send a PR with any new ones you find.

.id.au 2LD domain listing blocking legitimate Australian personal domains

I have come across this list as a commercial website is using this list. I cannot use my email address to register an account with them (@siemon.id.au) as you have listed the .id.au 2LD.

.id.au is a 2LD for personal domains for Australian citizens. In Australia .com.au, .net.au etc are only allowed to be sold to businesses and checks are done by the domain registrars. The .id.au 2LD is controlled by auDA which is the regulator for the .au TLD. No one owns the .id.au 2LD. Please see this information: https://www.auda.org.au/industry-information/au-domains/
and also here: https://www.domainregistration.com.au/news/id-au-domain-names.php.

By blocking .id.au you are affecting >13000 domains the vast majority of which are legitimate.

Can you please remove .id.au from your list and consider blocking at the domain.id.au level?

If you'd like more information please let me know.

163.com is a portal

http://www.163.com/ is a Chinese portal. Older email addresses are numeric (so where US CompuServe's in the 90s), e.g. [email protected] and look spammy but they're not burners.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NetEase

"NetEase's URL is 163.com. This is confusing to many non-Chinese because there seems to be no logical connection between the firm and its URL. While the URL might seem to be a case of Chinese numerology, it is not. Rather, the URL exists because of recent Chinese history: before the availability of broadband internet, users had to dial 163 to get online.[18] Therefore, early internet users recognized the numbers as implying a way to access the internet."

Spamgourmet not really burner

Hi; not completely sure what the intent of your list is, however

a) spamgourment.com doesn't bounce
b) by default it does deliver multiple mails
c) where normal, requested mails are being delivered then the users will normally keep getting them
d) spamgourmet does accept abuse reports and block abusive users
e) spamgourmet addresses are tracable by their admins to a specific logged in user

As such I don't think that it would either "drive up bounces" or "hurt deliverability" any more than the other service providers such as google where people can easily get multiple mail addresses. For any use other than gathering mails for spamming it seems to me that spamgourmet.com shouldn't be on your list of burner email addresses. I'd propose deleting their domains from your list.

10minutemail.net changes

I think 10minutemail.net changed their provided emails domain to @laoeq.com.
Maybe you can add that to the list as well.

missing domain

please add xmailsme.com (used by temp-mail.org). Thanks!

sneakemail is not a burner email provider

snkmail.com and sneakemail.com are on this list and should not be. Sneakemail is a paid service. Each address is for a specific user, and the addresses do not expire.

Please consider unblocking "21cn.com".

21cn is an enterprise email service provider in Mainland China.
I knew this 20 years ago, and I just found that they are still providing services to both enterprise customers and individual customers. This provider appears to be acquired by China Telecom.

emailondeck.com Addresses

Currently it has jv6hgh1.com
But I think they rotate those over time.. not sure if there is a good way to keep on top of this.. but for now you could add that one domain.

Double entries

The list has double entries:

spaereplease.com
spaerePlease.com

Importing the list into a database can result in a primary key error.

New Spam

tab.codyting.com

I've added this to my own list. in wordpress. but worrth adding to this list here when possible. another spam email domain.

Awesome work to keeping this list upto date all.

Looking for a few hands

I know there are a few of you who use this repo a lot - looking to give commit access to a few people who don't mind vetting pull requests

New one

Not an easy to find one but valid anyway

API

I did a simplistic version of the API server if you want to check it out.

The next step is to add/remove emails from DB using diff between commits

Deaguard API

Hi,

sorry for posting in the issues section, but I don't know a better way.

Since 03-FEB-2018 all calls to the Deaguard API (https://www.deaguard.eu.org/) throw "526: Invalid SSL certificate" errors. I can't find an email address of the webmaster for the Deaguard API project.

Do you have any idea how to proceed in this problem?

Might want to check this site out

I don't know too much about Github and its pull requests, but this site is loaded with temp emails you may want to add. https://clipmails.com/

Here's another: https://faketempmail.com/

And another: https://tempr.email/en/

Here are others.

I'll keep hunting them down latter.

Uses subdomains. Idea to release a list in regex format as well?
Are there other services which do this? (should we check on main domain for complete list?)

#4008 DEA providers (?)

Hi, today I found this List that includes 4008 emails including those that are on this repository, are they useful?

Go GRPC/JSON API

Hey!

As I badly needed your list I wanted to, in the return, create something that can be used by the community looking to utilize your list.

Output is: https://github.com/0x19/disposable

Disposable is a Golang based GRPC / JSON API with support for Basic Authentication.

Your project is git submodule. It's enough to do make submodules and it will update local version of this package.

It's designed to be used as standalone or as part of micro service world.

Currently following gRPC proto files are generated: Go, Python

Service is scalable, robust and well tested (unit tests for pretty much everything).

What is still missing is overall documentation and start guides that I am going to do by end of this week.

Best!

Fantastic job!

This is a tremendously useful list. I really hope you continue the updates! Thanks :)

License

Could you please add a LICENSE to the repository ?

Thanks ๐Ÿ˜‰

Domains from Unknown Source

These email addresses seem to be disposable, and a current spammer is using them.

They all appear to be from the same source, but I can't figure out what is the source.
I'll add as comments as the spammer continues to create new profiles.
Please keep me updated if you find where these come from!
