I can see my colleagues list on the rows below the "IP connection", but my 
colleagues cannot see me on their program.

And when I send file or text to them, it always failed with the “error code 
7".


I'm using Dukto 6 on Windows 8.1, and my colleagues on either windows 7 or 
windows 8.

It is expected to receive a file from ''x'' and when I press open now, it shows 
me a ''services'' page that only has a black screen and a ''go back'' button. 
And if i manually try to find that image on the folder where it is suposed to 
be, the image doesnt exist.

Last version from ovi. Im running win 7 ultimate.

From phone to PC works fine, the oposite (pc to phone) doesnt.

Seems to me that since the clients autofind each other anyone with dukto 
installed could transfer files to my phone or pc. A confirmation dialog or 
prior authorization of devices should be implemented. this is an awesome app :)

1. Send a folder that already exists in the destination host

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should create a new folder with "(2)" postfix; instead it creates all files 
in the root destination folder.

Please provide the free Dukto for Android and iOS, in addition to Symbian and 
Blackberry, so that we could easily share files between desktop and mobile.

Dear developer, I found a bug today.
While I transfer a folder which is big (more than 3G) to another pc, the 
receiver always died and transfer failed.
Both PC are windows.

1. Install on Fedora
2. Try to send message or receive message from others

Cannot see other contacts

Works if firewall is turned off (bad), or 4644 is added to unblock ports for 
UDP and TCP.  UDP needed to see other contacts, TCP to send data.  

Maybe popup a message on linux, or mention it on the google code page.

I want to keep this running in background.

Dukto is truly an awesome solution for sharing files in pc.
It still lacks some useful features like queuing files while some are being 
sent.
If an error occurs (eg. if lan cable gets loose) we cannot resume it from when 
the error occurred , so , pause and resume feature would be really useful.


Please include these features in the R7 release.

Phone gives "Out of Memory" and the copy process hangs.
Looks like a memory leak as the phone has enough storage space for the files.

Unable to change 'change destination setting' - nothing happens when selected.

When i try to send a file from an N8 device to a computer, it show me a system 
error: "Unable to execute the file for security reasons"(translated from 
italian)

The problem appeared after installing "Nokia Bubbles" from Nokia BetaLabs, 
software that asked me to reboot the device after installing. So I think this 
issue is due to a system update made by Nokia Bubbles.

As summary

It would be great to have a command line version for Windows (and other 
platforms) so you could simply type something like this to send files:

dukto filespec

dukto [device=lastused] filespec

Hi,

it would be very good to see dukto integrated with libnotify in a way it can 
use system notifaction to notify when transfers are done. Nautilus integration 
(with right click mouse to send a file) and system tray icon would be very 
welcome too.

I'm using Arch Linux x86_64 and Dukto R3 and R4 don't open.
When I try to open it gives this error about the library:

./DuktoR4: error while loading shared libraries: libpcre.so.3: cannot open 
shared object file: No such file or directory

I tested DuktoR3 and the same problem occurs. However, with DuktoR2 no problem 
is found!
Additionally, With Wine DuktoR4 opens normally.

1. Open DuktoR3 or R4 in Arch Linux x86_64

The expected is to open the program, but I see the error about library 
libpcre.so.3 not found.

The browse for destination folder button should be disabled while sending or 
receiving any file, as all the other controls.

The windows version popup with a simple window where a writing-cursor blinks. 
In the linux version, all the resources start to get wasted and no popups 
appears. After a while, the system hang, becoming unresponsive. The hang has 
been cleared forcefully causing a shutdown of the system. This has lead to some 
problems with networkmanager, that didn't manage to find the ethernet profile, 
after the reboot.

Hi, I propose to add to Dukto an history of received files.

This feature can be useful when multiple file are received and the user 
wants to know the latest transferred files. Without this feature the user 
has to go to "download" folder and search for anything new. If many file 
are in the folder this job can be not so easy.

In the "history window" the user should be able to double click on recently 
received files to open them with default associated application.

Using multiple instances of Dukto on the same PC can confuse the discovery 
protocol. There should be a check to let start only one instance of Dukto at 
time.

3. Try to send another file from the PC.

Expected output is the file being sent to the phone. Instead, the sending fails 
with a -7 error.

I would like to help on 808 pureview, I would try to build symbian version 
recently.

it was running fine.it start to get problem.when it was running fine,i change 
adapter configuration to 100mbps full duplex and got lag transfer and i move 
back to auto and transfer rate was normal.but problem occur how i dont know 
when.i clean install dukto r6.but get no success.i reinstall driver for eth or 
lan but no success.i scan for virus,disable firewall.i was out of my mind.pls

I use this in a classroom environment, where all students are running of a 
virtualbox image. Their hostnames are all the same. It would be great if you 
could change your "name". This would make it easier to distinguish between 
buddies.

3. Try to use it in another wifi network (at work maybe)

I expected it to let me configure the new network at least,
