regrocer's Issues

Product Catalogue "Database" Structure

Currently,

  • ๐Ÿ“ 2023-07-18
    • ๐Ÿ“„
      {
        "BULK_VEG": [
          "Cabbage": {
            ... (product details),
            "stock": 3.8
          },
          ... (product objects)
        ],
        ... ("category maps")
      }

Issues:

  • To update stock, prices, 2 and 3 levels of lookup, respectively
    • ^ pretty fast though, hash map
    • also, for prices, this way prob just make a new subcollection for each week entirely, not update prices within a week
  • Only value of redundant stock data across week subcollections is preventing forgetting and wasting unsold inventory??? nah, prob not => separate stock data into another root collection

Note: ๐Ÿ“ := collection, subcollection; ๐Ÿ“„ := document
