We have a Brand Assets repository, but I think we should also have a page for our brand assets on our website. That way, people can find it easier and quicker.
The first thing one would do (I guess π ) would be to check the website. If they wanna use our logos, they'll find our guidelines quickly. π
This would help our users find our branding assets/guidelines easier and quicker.
Add a branding page to our website.
This can be implemented soon or wait until the v2 is released.
We should migrate the landing page into nextjs since we will mostly use this framework for the org's projects.
Use next.js + tailwind

The section here is empty, maybe add social media icons of Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, GitHub.
You can found the socials link here:
https://bio.link/web3community
There should be an About Section on the website's landing page. And when the user clicks on the "About Us" in the navbar it should send the user to that "About Section".
The βAbout Usβ section can effectively communicate your team's values and how they may align with a potential customer's goals.
We can add an about section on the page and the following can be the content for the "About Section" :
While clicking on the "About Us" in the navbar it should take us to the About Section of the page.
Can someone add BLOG in the navbar next to LEARN?
Ex.
HOME LEARN BLOG ABOUT PROJECTS
I think the favicon without the white background, having white text would look better.
For example, this site had a background before, and without background looks better.
Let me know what do you think. Thanks. π
We need a separate page for the accordion.
If you have suggestions, please create a design template.

The hero image taken from Figma is blurry, we need a transparent one.
Start working on design v2.0, by setting up the website with the new design π
Our team believes that the new design is well enough to replace the current design.
It would help in:
npm init astro
Discussed in #team-web3 private chatroom with the presence of around all of the team members.

Now that we have a page for our moderators (thanks to @shreyaansjain06), feel free to add a bio of yourself to appear on the page!
Currently, we just have random texts set on that page. Other people can know more about us on that page.
Add short information about yourself. Please comment here and we'll make a PR to add it. π
Nope.

The h
should be capitalized as the word itself should be GitHub
. Go to the src/_includes/partials/footer.html
file.
In line 96, change the word to GitHub
, as currently the h
is not capitalized.

The social media icons alignment is altered while in chrome desktop site in android.
Device : Realme Narzo 20
OS : Android 11
Browser : Google Chrome
Mode : Desktop Site
Possible Solution :
I guess shifting the socials section from left to bottom should fix the issue
PS : I didn't check it . I just edited out the above image to convey the meaning
I have seen lots of unused codes on the index.html. Please remove those if not planning to use them later, let's make our codebase clean.
Is it possible to add or fetch the blog from dev.to with image?
Like:
Hi β¨
We should remove the old Community Blogs section from the homepage, and replace it with the Blog's page one
We should show our community blog posts from Dev.to
We should use the one from our blog page :

We should update the tailwind class to adapt it to small screen.
We can use the breakpoint class from tailwind.
We should remove Team on navbar and put the team on footer.
Add our community website link to logo

It would be nice if we could add Discord to the list of socials at the bottom.
People who are not aware of our GitHub/Twitter/Discord might find our community easier. π
Add our Discord community at the socials part at the footer.
I'd like to work on this.
We are looking to add Alpine.js to the project.
Alpine.js is for developers who arenβt looking to build a single page application (SPA). Itβs lightweight (~7kB gzipped) and designed to write markup-driven client-side JavaScript.
The syntax is borrowed from Vue and Angular directive. That means it will feel familiar if youβve worked with those before. But, again, Alpine.js is not designed to build SPAs, but rather enhance your templates with a little bit of JavaScript.
Itβs like a replacement for jQuery and JavaScript, but with declarative rendering !
We should update the blog card, and fix the content :
Better design.
We should add fixed height to title or description. Or using flex to add authorName at the bottom of card.

The cards on the Community Partners page are not properly stacking on each other. The cards which are on the left side are always staying below the cards on the right, on the hover

Add a page for all of our community moderators. They should be credited for their work in keeping the community a safe and welcoming environment for all. Also, for their continuous help. π
Other communities have a moderators page as well. Also, I think it would benefit the moderators to promote themselves a bit. π
We could make it a simple page with their profile photos and links to their GitHub profile or any other socials they want, and a short bio of themselves. π
I don't think so.
Any suggestions on what to add?
Example:
1st card = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ci_AIMCF-HA
2nd card = https://www.techfunnel.com/information-technology/how-to-become-blockchain-developer/
3rd card = https://cryptozombies.io/
4th card = https://learn.figment.io/
On mobile, the links underneath the footer headers are displayed inline with each other. This will cause issues with enough room for their touch targets and cause UX issues.
I would propose we display them as a block
so that they each get their own line on mobile just like they do on desktop.
I think it is hard to read footer links on mobile when they are listed out next to each other. Each footer link should be on its own row so that there is enough room for navigation.
I believe on each <li>
inside the footer we need to remove the class inline-block
or replace it with block
this will allow each <li>
to take up the entire row instead of being listed next to each other on mobile.

We need a separate page to showcase our community partners.
It is best to do this, so we can show our appreciation to them.

If anyone has a good idea about the design, feel free to comment below.
Since the copyright year in the license is updated to 2022 we should also update it in the website's copyright.
