I am deeply committed to the art and science of software design and development. My focus is on reducing software complexity and creating code that is both readable, maintainable, and high-performing. This allows me to contribute to the development of reliable and sustainable business products. Prior to my current pursuits, I dedicated a decade to research in the fields of social psychology and neuroscience. During that time, I acquired substantial experience in data analysis, visualization, reporting, and communication. My research was centered on exploring the neural and psychological underpinnings of ethical decision-making (see publications).
I am currently looking for a job. If you are hiring a (Research) Software Engineer or a Data Scientist, let me know!
I have authored over a dozen R packages that have a combined download count of over 20 million.
They deal with:
- statistical analysis and reporting (e.g. easystats project, a collection of 10 packages)
- data visualization (e.g. ggstatsplot: Enhancing
{ggplot2}
plots with statistical analysis) - code analysis (e.g. lintr: Static code analysis for R)
Other authored packages include:
datawizard, performance, parameters, insight, effectsize, bayestestR, modelbased, ggsignif, see, statsExpressions, report, correlation, styler, ospsuite, ospsuite.utils, esqlabsR
