Most gyroscope sensors applies some soft of drift compensation in hardware for known low frequency caused by adjacent hardware on the device.

That sounds like you're describing calibration. If so, care to link it to it's generic sensor definition (via Bikeshed's [=calibration=] syntax)? And fix the latter if you think it needs fixing.

I had a question today about whether these use cases imply any specific sampling rate or precision values.

Can we update the explainer to be explicit about what sampling rate and precision are required to solve the use cases?

@dontcallmedom @xfq, can we use Echidna to publish updates to this Note? We're hitting the following error (using https://github.com/w3c/sensors/blob/master/echidna.sh that works fine for other non-Note specs):

The same error is reported, regardless of whether in the metadata we declare:

Status: ED

or

Status: NOTE

If this is an Echidna feature, could you meanwhile help us manually publish an updated Note?

This is used in https://www.w3.org/TR/mediacapture-depth/ already and renders nicely.

This way we could we properly rendered unit vectors etc, instead of approximations like ĝ, ê, uG, uE etc and the integrals:

a = g×sin(θ), x = ½×at2

Will look more correct.
