For what it's worth, I was able to verify that the firmware binary included in this repository (at least as of commit a62fc49) matches the one I obtained from the official Kingston SSD Manager v1.1.2.6.

If this helps anyone better trust the .bin in this repository, then so be it.

The described installation process worked correctly for me.

Recently i got a kingston KC2000 m2 ssd with old firmware.
So i contacted Kingston and they send me a new firmware for this device and it works great.

Would you be interested in adding this firmware to this repo?
To help others who have firmware issues.

I can give you the link they send me but i don't know how long it will be valid.
II don't know how to verify that this firmware is legit but it comes directly from kingston support

Had a problem last night with the SSD acting up, found this GitHub via a forum thread.

Tried to update the firmware, but was unsuccessful, see errors below:

Thanks for this helpful repository.

The old firmware could be downloaded from kingston's website (https://media.kingston.com/support/downloads/S5Z42105.zip).
However, the new firmware is not accessible from it, https://media.kingston.com/support/downloads/S5Z42109.zip returns a 404.

Is there an official source from where the new release "S5Z42109" can be found ?
