If we are distinguishing just two states using the "positive" measurement-type, there is a closed form for the optimal distinguishing formula along with a standard way to obtain and return the optimal measurements. There is also something that can be done if the states are mutually orthogonal (so this relies on having #1 implemented). These should be coded up as a special case if the number of states to distinguish from the ensemble is two.

Define a function is_mutually_orthogonal as a property method for the Ensemble class that returns True if all of the states in the ensemble are orthogonal with every other state in the ensemble and False otherwise.
