Bug Description

When printing from SD card, the display always shows Z 00.0 - and does not update to show the current Z height. It would be nice if it could show the current height as most Marlin based printers do.

My Configurations

Using F/W 1.2.1 for both board and display.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Select any object to print (including provided GCODE)
2. Print object
3. Observe Z height not changing on display.

Expected behavior: Z height is updated at each layer level to show current Z height.

Actual behavior: Z height always stays at 00.0

I recently picked up a Voxelab Aries, Used 2nd hand I have it printing pretty well I set up cura for it, but would prefer a profile for prusa slicer, but it is printing better since I can use cura. My question is will there ever be Marlin firmware for this printer like the Aquila. My main complaint is that you have so little adjustability with this printer. Please either release a more advanced firmware or the configuration files for Marlin so this printer could be used to its full potential. I like the printer but it will be short lived with me if I can't get better firmware for it.

Bug Description

When printing from the USB connection, the screen does not change to show the "printing" status with pause / options / print time. It remains on the main menu display (Print / Control / Settings / Info).

My Configurations

Firmware 1.2.1 for both board and display

Steps to Reproduce

1. Connect a computer to the USB port - for example Octoprint on a Raspberry Pi 4.
2. Print GCODE from computer (or Octoprint in my case)
3. Screen still remains on main menu

Expected behavior: Screen changes to display print status with temperatures, print times, and controls for pausing / configuring print

Actual behavior: Screen remains on main menu
