Currently the package introduces has tight spacing and no direct support for being a LaTeX float. For some use cases, these might be desirable.

Add options to control spacing around code blocks. Add float support.

This is a task I will assign myself to. However, anyone is free to work on this issue. Just announce you're working on it by posting a reply on this issue.

Initially, the project was purely named highlight-latex, it's more readable. However, CTAN recommends all package names to not include dashes.

Rename everything properly to highlightlatex, or decide the project itself can differ from the package name by this dash. In the latter case, update each occurence according to this rule.

Currently the manual is generated through pandoc. It does a surprisingly good job, but the manual is clearly not optimized for being a PDF, and doesn't match the manual style of other packages.

Therefore, create a .dtx file, mirror the documentation into it, enhance with commands from the 'doc' package, and generate the .sty and .pdf files from it.
